Popular celeb Natalie Portman has gone retro with her hair a few times in recent years at special Hollywood events. On this occasion the stylish star wore her medium retro hairstyle with dramatic waves. It looks really cute. Like many 1940s hairstyles, Natalie's hair is side-parted leaving her face completely "open."

For the special occasion, Natalie was dressed up in a warm shimmery red evening dress with black sash and black velvet high heels. It's a fun look. The top of her short dress, though, may have too much fabric. It looks rather loose and bulky. But it's a gorgeous color.
